Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command, have arrested one Kehinde Ramon, an Okada rider but behind the scene, he is a notorious highway robber with specialty in attacking commuters, snatching handbags from unsuspecting ladies, infact he robs whenever the opportunity presents itself.

According to the command, Ramon was arrested by operatives attached to the Raider team of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, during one of his robbery operations around Okokomaiko.

During interrogation, Ramon was said to he confessed that he was a traffic robber and that he usually operates with members of his gang along Okokomaiko, Pipeline, Igando and Ajangbadi axis.

According to Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, further revelations from Ramon led to the arrest of his partners in crime, namely: Afolabi Ibrahim; Sheriff Ogundeji, at Odusan Street behind Akesan market Igando.

Edgal said recovered from them are the following exhibits: One Italian made pistol; One locally made double barrel pistol; Several ammunitions; and their operational motorcycle.

He said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigation was over.
