The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani Fatai, has paid a condolence visit to the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Lagos.
Fatai commiserated with the Commander 651 Base, Air Commodore M Imam, over the tragic loss of Nigerian Air Force crew members and passengers in 931 Aircraft accident at Igbokoda, Ondo State.
He expressed his condolences over the unfortunate incident and prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved families, colleagues and the entire Nigerian Air Force community.
Fatai reaffirmed the Lagos State Police Command’s solidarity with the Nigerian Air Force and other sister security agencies.
The Commissioner of Police noted that the importance of continued inter-agency cooperation and mutual support in the face of such difficult moments.
Police Public Relations officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi in a statement said the visit was a show of solidarity and sympathy with the Nigerian Air Force and the families of the deceased at a time of profound loss.
