“We want to ensure that the people are healthy, we are targeting as many as we can reach out to; we have at least registered 3,000 to 4,000 persons.
“However, when we have a situation that requires further attention, they shall be referred to 1 Division hospital, ’’ the GOC, represented by Brigadier-General John Ali said at the event.
One of the beneficiaries, Hadiza Abubakar, said majority of the residents of Kasuwar Magani are poor and could not afford medical care due to financial constrain.
“So we are very happy with the Nigeria Army for holding this medical outreach, we are so glad and pray that God Almighty should continue to bless them and give them the strength in their pursuit to save lives and property of the citizenry,” she said.
Another beneficiary, Emmanuel Anthony, appreciated the Nigerian Army for organising the programme, stressing that the community would continue to support it in the efforts at ensuring peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
