Members, friends, families and a hosts of others have joined in the annual Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, ICSAN 2025 Walk-for-Life which holds as a prelude to 2025 Annual Conference of the Institute.

The ICSAN 2025 Walk-for-Life held with an impressive turnout of members across the country is part of the build-up to the Institute’s forthcoming Annual Conference, lived up to its billing as a vibrant wellness and networking initiative.

The Walk took place not only at the National Secretariat in Lagos but was also held simultaneously across all the Institute’s State Chapters across the nation including Akwa Ibom State Chapter, Abuja Chapter, Rivers State Chapter, Edo/Delta Chapter, Kaduna State Chapter, and Oyo State Chapter.

In her remarks ICSAN President and Chairman of the Governing Council, Uto Ukpanah, FCIS, said walking provides numerous health benefits, including maintaining a healthy weight, preventing chronic conditions, strengthening bones and muscles, and improving cardiovascular and mental health.
Ukpanah said regular brisk walking can boost energy, strengthen the immune system, and reduce the risk of certain cancers, saying for maximum benefits, aim for at least 30 minutes of brisk walking most days of the week.
According to her, beyond its health benefits, the Walk symbolised camaraderie, fellowship, and a collective commitment to wellness as professionals.
She expressed profound gratitude to all participants, and also extended her appreciation to the various stakeholders who contributed to the success of the event.
Ukpanah said the Institute looks forward to building on the momentum as it count down to the ICSAN 2025 Annual Conference and Dinner coming up on Thursday, 18th, and Friday, 19th September 2025.
In her words, the theme of the Conference is Reimagining Governance Navigating The Artificial Intelligence Revolution for Excellence, holding at Habour Point, 4 Wilmot Point Road Off Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island Lagos.
