The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Fayoade Fayoade, has decorated the newly promoted Assistant Commissioners of Police at the Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos.

Fayoade appreciated the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) for approving the promotion of the new Assistant Commissioners of Police.

Fayoade enjoined them to be professional and rule of law compliant in their dealings with the public and also be dedicated in the fight against crime and criminality in their respective areas of jurisdiction as new rank connotes new responsibilities.

He emphasised that to whom much is given, much is expected.

The newly promoted Officers while expressing gratitude to the Almighty also appreciate the IGP for finding them deserving of the enviable rank as they promise to live up to expectations and be more responsible in their respective duty posts.
