Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has reiterated his administration commitment to good governance for a lasting legacy.

According to him, his government is building an eight-year system that would outlive him in the overall benefit of the people of the state.

He admonished government officials on the need to improve on their output for maximum service delivery in office, adding that public interest should be given utmost priority.

While stating the need to put behind personal agenda, he noted that posterity would only remember the appointees for the good done while representing the people in office.

The governor made the remark at the weekly State Executive Council meeting at the Exco Hall in Government House, Lokoja.

Highlights of the meeting, was the inauguration of the new Head of Service, Odiyo Hannah Onyinoyi and the Chairman of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, Yusuf Abubakar into the state Executive Council.
