The new Imo State Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike has solicited for a more robust synergy among security agencies in the state.

According to Ezike, this is in a bid to stem the tide of criminal activities, saying relationship among sister security agencies has been an age long tradition.

He made the call during his courtesy visits to sister security agencies, saying there was the need to harness the relationship to foster effective and efficient service delivery to the people to ensure a safe and secured society.

Ezike identified cultism as the bane of security challenges and called for all hands to be on deck to put a stop to the unholy activities of cultists in the state.

He said he would welcome any cultist willing to renounce his membership with open arms while those who still indulge in cult related activities would not be spared.

The Police Boss has so far visited the Directorate of State Security Service, Nigerian Air Force, Nigerian Prisons Service and Nigerian Immigration Service.
