The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM).
The induction ceremony, held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, recognises the IGP’s exemplary leadership, commitment to human resource development, professionalism and administrative excellence in the Nigeria Police Force.
The President and Chairman of the Governing Council of CIPM, Ahmed Gobir, while conferring the Fellowship honors.
Gobir described IGP Disu as a reform-minded leader who has demonstrated exceptional capacity in people management, institutional transformation, and welfare-driven leadership.
In his acceptance remarks, the IGP expressed gratitude to the Institute for the honor, noting that effective personnel management remains central to modern policing.
He pledged to continue to promote merit, capacity building, discipline and welfare of officers and men as critical pillars of a professional and service-oriented Police Force.
The Fellowship is the highest membership cadre of the Institute, reserved for distinguished professionals who have made significant contributions to human resource management and leadership.
