Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Enugu Zonal Command said it would deal decisively with drivers’ license touts in the zone.

Its Zonal Commanding Officer, Samuel Obayemi, said the Corps would use the full weight of the law on those that issue fake or cloned drivers’ license to motorists.

Obayemi, who is in charge of Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo states, advised motorists to stop obtaining their drivers’ licenses by proxy, saying genuine licenses could be obtained from designated FRSC licensing offices in the zone.

According to him, FRSC has always insisted that motorists should obtain authentic drivers’ license at drivers’ license centers.

He advised people not to give anybody money to do a drivers’ license for them because the license, saying the licence they would get through proxy would be a fake.
