Nigerian Navy has again reiterated its vow to rid the Niger Delta of illegalities, warning that the military will soon apprehend those responsible for the bombing of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation pipeline.

The warning came on the heels of another destruction of an NNPC’s pipeline allegedly by a group of militants that goes by the name, Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate.

The group had claimed responsibility for blowing up NNPC oil pipeline a few days ago in Warri, Delta State.

Commander, Nigeria Naval Ship Soroh, Commodore Habib Usman, said the military was ready to deal with the hoodlums.

Usman stated this when he led a team of medical personnel to offer free medical test and treatments to residents of Akenpai community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of the state.

He said the recent bombings were part of efforts by miscreants to bring disaffection between the various communities in the Niger Delta and the government, saying the military was now more ready to deal with all forms of illegalities.
