Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, has visited the Iyana Agodo Village home of late broadcaster Kitan Oyesiku for an on-the-spot assessment of the investigation into her death and that of her security guard.
CP Ojajuni inspected the premises and received briefings from detectives on the progress made so far.
Ojajuni restated the Command’s commitment to a thorough probe to uncover what happened and ensure everyone involved is identified, arrested, and prosecuted.
During night operations, police operatives recovered the Lexus RX300 earlier reported missing from the residence. The vehicle has been secured as an exhibit while investigations continue.
Intelligence-led operations and surveillance have also been intensified across relevant locations to track down the perpetrators.
CP Ojajuni commiserated with the family of the deceased, OGTV, and the media community over the tragic loss.
He assured Ogun residents that the Command is deploying all available resources and that significant progress is being made.
