Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP  Olohundare Jimoh has attributed his achievements in policing the State to Divine Intervention, effectiveness of his officers and men with the cooperation of Lagosians.

CP Jimoh made the remarks while playing host to a team of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Western Zone.

Jimoh revealed that the almighty God support in making all his officers and men hardworking making criminals to flee the State.

He maintained that the great cooperation the command received from the public who now believe in Police by prompt alert to the operatives on where criminals are about or perpetrating crime in the state.

The CP also acknowledged the support the command received from the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu with necessary equipments to fight crime, which boosted the moral of his officers and men.

While commending the team from his home state for monitoring his work and the visit, he however solicited for more support from both residents and visitors to make Lagos Crime-free State.

Earlier, the Zonal Chairman of IEDPU Western Zone, Dr Musa Owonikoko appreciated CP Jimoh for making the Ilorin Emirate proud with his diligent work in combating crime in the State.

He said, “on behalf of the Emir of Ilorin, Oba Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, National President of IEDPU, Abdulmumini Abdulmalik and the entire Ilorin Emirate indigenes, we commend you for making us feel proud with your excellent work and pray for more promotions and success”.

“We that lives in Lagos among the people were even receiving commendation from them because of your good work. We thank you for making us proud”, Chairman Owonikoko remarked.
