Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has urged all citizens to accord the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, a warm welcome during her official visit.

Sanwo-Olu says the visit is part of her inaugural mission to the State to distribute empowerment tools to over one thousand women and commission the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub, recognised as the largest of its kind in West Africa.

He emphasised the importance of the initiatives, which aim to support the welfare of women, children, and families across Nigeria.

The Governor expressed gratitude for the First Lady’s commitment to national unity, advancement of women and children, and strengthening of social welfare initiatives that align with the state government’s inclusive governance and sustainable development goals.
