The Assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge of Zone 2 Command, AIG Adegoke Fayoade has commended officers and men of the Zone 2 Command for their efforts and commitment in the fight against crime and criminality.

Fayoade also emphasises the need to maintain a high level of professionalism in the discharge of their statutory duties.

The AIG did not only warn against unnecessary/prolong detention of suspects but also delving into civil matters.

He stressed the need for accountability: as each and every one will be accountable for their actions and inactions in the protection of the rights of citizens who they have been called to protect.

Fayoade also urged officers to be proactive and effective as they proceed in the service to the humanity.

The AIG used the lecture to talked about officers eschewing all forms of corrupt practices.
