Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has swore in eight new Permanent Secretaries, reinforcing leadership across key government agencies and ministries.
The ceremony took place at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Dr Idowu Abiola Adeolu for the Health Facilities Monitoring and Accreditation Agency, Olanrewaju Aderinsola Olubanke for the Citizens Mediation Bureau, and Bajulaiye Adetokunbo Olanrewaju for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture.
Others are Mahmud Tajudeen Alao for the Ministry of Finance, Agbabiaka Wasiu Bolanle for the Civil Service Commission, and Architect Oki Gbolahan Owodunni for Urban Development.
Also, Onigbanjo Rianat Ajibike was sworn in as Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, while Olayinka Adebayo Wasiu assumed the role at the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment.
Governor Sanwo-Olu charged the new appointees with the responsibility of driving excellence in governance and ensuring the efficient delivery of public services.
“Your appointments come with high expectations. Lagosians demand the best, and you must justify this trust through dedication and innovation,” he said.
The Governor emphasised the importance of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to the THEMES agenda, the administration’s strategic development blueprint.
