The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old lady, simply identified as Emmanuella, for allegedly conspiring with her brother and one other to rob her boyfriend of three iPhones and bitcoins worth about fifteen million naira.

Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the arrest, said the boyfriend of the lady suspect reported the case at Okota Police Division.

Hundeyin said upon receipt of the report, the lady was arrested.

He said following the confessional statement of Emmanuella, one Ogbuka, 22, a younger brother to Emmanuella was trailed and arrested by the police. Both of them confessed to the crime.

All the complainant’s robbed phones and sum of six point five million naira were recovered and have been registered with the exhibit keeper.

The image maker said investigation is still ongoing to arrest the other wanted members of the gang.
