The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a secondary school principal and a teacher over an alleged assault of a 15-year- old student.

Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the arrest, said the principal and the teacher (names withheld), of Okota Junior Grammar School, were picked up after the mother of the student made a report.

According to Hundeyin, the mother of the assaulted student reported that the assault resulted in the loss of three of the student’s teeth.

He said the case was reported at Isolo Police Division at about 11.00 a.m., on March 11, 2025.

“Upon receiving the report, the police promptly arrested the suspects. They are currently assisting the Police in its investigations into the incident which took place in the school premises.

The Lagos State Police Command assures Lagosians that justice will be served, as the suspects will be arraigned accordingly at the conclusion of investigations.
