The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed his commitment to forging a closer working relationship with the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), particularly in the area of human capital development.


This commitment was highlighted during a meeting between the Governor and a delegation from the Institute, led by President and Chairman of Council, Commodore Abimbola Ayuba rtd FNIM fdc, at the Governor’s office in Marina, Lagos.

During the visit, the President expressed the Institute’s desire to partner with the Lagos State government on various capacity-building initiatives, specifically through training the state’s civil servants.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, commending the Institute for its significant contributions to nation-building, promised to engage its services in the state government’s efforts to enhance service delivery and productivity within the civil service.

The President was accompanied on the visit by Registrar/Chief Executive, Mrs. Taiwo Ganiyat Olusesi, MNIM; a past Administrator of the Institute, Mr. Akin Iroko, FNIM; Council Member, Commodore Sunday Oguntade FNIM, and Director of Membership Services, Mr. Abayomi Folarin, MNIM, among others.
