Members of Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria, CRAN have commiserated with the Commissioner of Police, FCT Police Command, CP Olatunji Disu over the death of his son Adam Kaka Disu in a ghastly accident.
They expressed that they are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the son of CP Disu, saying their hearts go out to the Disu family during this incredibly difficult period.
According to them, they can only imagine the excruciating pain and overwhelming grief that CP Disu and his family must be enduring, because the loss of a child is a wound that can never be fully healed.
In their words, they are aware that CP Disu, a compassionate senior cop, has always stood by people in their trying times, offering a listening ear, a comforting word, and a helping hand, and he has been a pillar of strength to many, and now, they want him to know that their thoughts and prayers are with him and his family too, as they navigate this difficult and painful phase.
In a statement made available to newsmen by CRAN President Lekan Olabulo, they pray that God grants CP Disu and his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and find comfort in the knowledge that they are not alone in their grief.
The CRAN members in this moment of unspeakable sorrow, urge all Nigerians to join in offering condolences to CP Disu and his family.
They wanted all to come together to support, comfort and remind them that they are not alone.
They prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed soul and for divine strength to uphold the family through this irreplaceable loss.
