Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali today with sister agencies went on supervision of security operatives deployed on the LG election duties.

Ali with officers from the NSCDC, IMMIGRATION, ROAD SAFETY AND NDLEA also monitor the conduct of the elections.
Some of the polling units visited includes obo-ator primary school, uzoigwe primary school, Azagba primary school, Ahabam primary school all in Oshimili south local government.

During the routine visit to polling units, some violators of the restriction of movement order imposed by the state government were also arrested, their tricycles and vehicles impounded.
The Commissioner of police also extended his visit to oshimili north local government, where he visited Oko-atakpo polling unit, Omu boys primary school, and post office ogbe-owele polling units.

He also went to Aniocha south Local government area where he visited some of the major polling units which includes, Ogwa Umudunkwu, Anishi polling units,
The commissioner also extended his visit to okpanam town, and visited major polling units there.
He encourage voters to maintain calm, and continue in their to comport themselves as they have been doing.
The Election is generally peaceful and monitoring continues.
