Woman Arrested for Killing her Hubby over Daughter’s Birthday Party.

On 17/09/2019 at about 0600hours, Homicide detectives from Surulere Division arrested one Stella Peter ‘f’ 23 years old for stabbing her hubby, Bala Haruna ‘m’ 25 years old to death.

The couple who were not actually married, lived together at No 2 Tejuosho Avenue, Surulere lagos, for three years and have a Baby who just turned one.

An argument ensued between them which turned violent and the woman used a kitchen knife to stab the man in the back which led to his death.

The woman accused the man of refusing to release money for their daughter’s birthday party.

Homicide detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba have taken over the investigation.

The suspect confessed to the commission of the Crime.

She will be charged to Court for murder.

Arrest of Notorious Car Snatchers and Recovery of Stolen Vehicle.

On 11/09/2019 at about 2330hrs, acting on credible Intelligence, Detectives from Ilemba Hausa Division arrested two suspects: Gidion Amuzie ‘m’ aged 25 yrs and God’s power Imafidion ‘m’ aged 25 yrs of Sattilite town Lagos and recovered one black Honda accord 2007 which they hid at jemilugba street ilogbo Lagos.

The suspects specialize in snatching vehicles from the owners or stealing the vehicles from where they are parked. They confessed that they stole the vehicle at a car wash in satellite town Lagos.

Investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be charged to Court.

Arrest of Armed Robbers and Cop Killers.

On 14/09/2019 at about 01:30hrs, following a sustained monitoring, a team of detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer Igando, CSP Taiwo Kasumu arrested three notorious armed robbery suspects.

The armed robbery gang terrorizes the Igando/Egan residential neighborhood mostly at night time.

They arrived the neighborhood on three motorcycles with intent to rob along Ikotun-Igando road but the attempt was foiled by the police.

One Oseni Waheed ‘m’ 32yrs was arrested at the scene with one locally made pistol while the rest escaped.

He led detectives to Aribisala street in Egan where three of his fleeing accomplices were arrested at about 02:30am of 16/09/2019.

The suspects were also on the wanted list of the State CID Yaba for series of robberies and murders including the murder of a Policeman under Amukoko Division during one of their robbery operations.

Investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be charged to Court.

Police Intercepted Van Carrying Large Quantity of Cannabis also Known as Indian Hemp.

On 16/09/2019 at about 2.00am, Police Officers from Area J Command, intercepted a van along Itafaji Street, Lagos Island loaded with twenty bags of Cannabis leaves.

The driver of the Van, Usman Adeyemi ‘m’ 27 years old was arrested while the vehicle was impounded for discreet investigation.

Investigation is ongoing.
