Bariga Police Arrest Man For Defiling Girl After Putting Indian Helm In Her Food.
On 11/9/2019 at about 1430hours, Bariga Police Station received a complaint that one Innocent Ifunayachi ‘m’ 34 years old defied a 14 year old girl in her family house.
The suspect being a friend to the family visited and found the girl eating Indomie and while she left to get him some drinks, he quickly put some quantities of dry leaves suspected to be indian Helm into the food.
She returned and eat the food without foreknowledge of the substance added. She lost consciousness after eating the food and he took advantage of that to rape her.

Detectives from the Family Support Unit arrested the suspect and he confessed to the commission of the Crime.
The survivor was taken to hospital for medical treatment and forensic examination.
The suspect will be charged to Court.
Also, On 11/9/2019 at about 1920 hours, Bariga Police Station received a complaint that some times in November 2019 that one Mr kazeem Bello about 26 years of age conspired with one Dayo A Maker ‘m’ about 24 years of age of No 26 Oreshegun Street Elaje Bariga and gang rape a 13 years old girl.
The survivor became pregnant as a result of the defilement and gave birth to a baby girl about five weeks ago. That the suspect had earlier on threatened to kill the survivor if she tells any body.

The survivor summoned courage to narrate her ordeal to her family when the same suspect threatened to rape her younger sister. One of the suspects Dayo M Maker, was arrested by detectives from the Family Support Unit, Bariga while his accomplice Mr Kazeem Bello is at large.
Investigation is ongoing, efforts are emplaced to apprehend the second suspect.
Police Arrest Murder Suspect On Police Wanted List.
On 12/09/2019 at about 1615hrs, following a sustained monitoring, one Kehinde Bakare ‘m’ aged 23yrs old, a prime suspect in connection with the murder of one Samuel Ladejo ‘m’ was arrested at obalende and one locally made pistol with two live cartridges was recovered from him.

It could be recalled that on 01/10/2018 at about 0600hrs, One Bisi Komolafe ‘f’ assistant manager of famous hotel situated at No 36 Obalende Road Ikoyi Lagos reported at the station that one of their staff by name Samuel Ladejo ‘M’ left the hotel to attend party along Obalende road Ikoyi where he was stabbed in the chest by some boys who are now at large while he was rush down to general hospital for treatment victim later gave up the ghost in the hospital. One Umukoro Otega ‘m’ was earlier arrested in connection with the crime and charged to Court.
The suspect will be charged to Court.
Bariga Police Arrest Notorious Cultists.
On 14/9/2019X at about 2315hours, following a sustained monitoring, Detectives from Bariga Police Station arrested One Emmanuel Olatunde Alias “PASTOR” ‘m’ 31years old at No 27 Oremenunu Ibafo Street Bariga.
The suspect who is an ex convict, is a high ranking member of Eiye Confraternity, terrorizing people in Bariga and environ.
He has a link with a series of robberies and murder cases in Bariga.
He is responsible for the murder of one Ahmed Karowi, an Aiye Confraternity Kingpin on 11th September, 2019. Investigation is ongoing and the suspect will soon be charged to Court.
Police Arrest Fake EFCC Operative in Lagos.
On the 14/09/2019 at about 1100hrs, acting on credible Intelligence, Ojo Police Station arrested one Emeka Emmanuel ‘M’ 29yrs old of Ijaniki, Lagos at Iyn Iba area.
The suspect was in possession of a fake EFCC ID card which he use in parading himself as an EFCC operative.
The suspect duped innocent citizens under the pretense of providing them employment with the EFCC as operatives.
One Olaposi Semiu ‘m’ of Agbara, Lagos who is one of such victims. He told Police Investigators that the suspect collected the sum of N51,000 from him over a month ago with a promise of securing employment for son as an EFCC operative. The suspect has confessed to the crime.
The suspect was also found operating illegal medical facility in his residence. Other items recovered include medical equipment and fake certificates.
The Command advised the Public, especially job seekers to be mindful of the activities of such job scammers in order not to fall prey of their antics.
Investigation is ongoing and the suspect will be charged to Court.
