Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, has deployed 5,000 personnel to ensure hitch-free Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in the state.

NSCDC Commandant in the state, Modu Bunu, giving the assurance in a Sallah message in Kaduna, expressed readiness of the command to collaborate with the residents and other security agencies to ensure hitch free Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in the state.

The commandant urged members of the public to report suspected objects, acts and persons to security agencies for necessary action.

He said uniformed and plain cloth armed personnel had been deployed to prevent any breach of peace before, during and after the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.

The state NSCDC commandant expressed satisfaction with the conduct of Islamic faithful during this year’s Tafsir,

Bunu urged all residents of the state irrespective of ethnic and religious inclinations to embrace peace.
