The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, has reaffirmed the commitment of the Police Command to intelligence-led and community-driven policing as part of efforts to strengthen security collaboration across the state.

Ojajuni made the pledge while attending the monthly meeting of the Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC, where he engaged critical stakeholders on strategies for improving community policing, intelligence sharing, and public safety coordination in Ogun State.
He attended the meeting alongside the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Murtala Bolanle, in line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, on sustained stakeholder engagement and partnership-driven policing.
The meeting provided a platform for interactions between the police and community leaders, with discussions centred on strengthening existing security partnerships, improving early response mechanisms, and deepening trust between residents and law enforcement agencies.
Speaking during the engagement, the PCRC Chairman, Comrade Lawal Abdullahi, commended CP Ojajuni for personally attending the monthly meeting, describing the development as unprecedented in the history of the Ogun State Police Command.
According to him, it was the first time a serving Commissioner of Police in Ogun State would physically participate in a PCRC monthly engagement, a move he said demonstrated genuine commitment to community policing and inclusive security management.
Abdullahi pledged the continued support of the PCRC towards sustaining peace and security across the state through collaboration, advocacy, and intelligence sharing.
