The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Tincan Island Lagos, has pledged to support the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), in the fight against drug trafficking.

Its Chairman, Prince Olawale Cole, made the pledge when he led his new executive members on an official visit to Commander of NDLEA, Tincan Island Port Strategic Command, Ofoyeju Mitchell.

According to Cole, the working visit was to sought continuation of the established collaborative framework between the ANLCA and the NDLEA in tackling the growing menace of narcotics at the seaport.

Cole emphasised the association’s commitment to supporting NDLEA’s efforts in eradicating drug trafficking, noting that the challenges posed by narcotics were detrimental to both national security and the ease of doing business at the port.

“It is crucial for us to work hand in hand with the NDLEA to implement effective measures that will enhance our operations while keeping drug trafficking at bay,” he said.
