The Nigeria Police Force is holding its 2024 annual Christmas Carol and Service of Songs Programme, scheduled to hold by 5pm on Friday, at the NPF Resource Centre, Jabi, Abuja.
According to Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, this year’s carol promises to be a spiritually uplifting and memorable occasion as they usher in the festive season with hymns, prayers, and thanksgiving.
Adejobi in a statement says the programme reflects the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to foster peace, unity, and community spirit among officers, their families, and the public.
His statement notes that the Nigeria Police will be deeply honoured to have the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as the Mother of the day for the auspicious event to promote national harmony and spiritual reflection.
In addition, dignitaries who will grace the occasion include the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, alongside other distinguished dignitaries.
The event will also feature a special ministration by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, whose message of hope and faith is expected to inspire all attendees.
The programme will include renditions of carols by the Nigeria Police Choir, scripture readings, and goodwill messages.
All members of the Nigeria Police Force, their families, and the public are join in the special celebration.
