Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has pledged his administration’s commitment to collaborate with the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, ICSAN, to ensure corporate governance and administration in the State.

Governor Sanwo-Olu made the commitment during a courtesy visit by the President and Chairman in Council of ICSAN, Funmi Ekundayo, and other members of the Institute at the Lagos House, Ikeja.

Sanwo-Olu said Lagos will continue to be home to all Nigerians, adding that the State Government will create more platforms and opportunities for people to grow.

He emphasised Lagos’ role as a welcoming hub for all Nigerians, adding that his administration would continue creating platforms and opportunities for the growth and success of its residents.

In her address, ICSAN President and Chairman in Council, Ekundayo, commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for his administration’s developmental strides achieved through the THEMES+ Agenda.

Ekundayo called for increased collaboration between the State Government and ICSAN, particularly in capacity building for the Lagos State workforce and enhancing corporate governance across both private and public sectors nationwide.

She also advocated building the right corporate governance structure both in the private and public sectors across the country.

The ICSAN Boss stressed the need for a robust governance framework to boost productivity and accountability.
