Ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State from Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The President is in his home state to spend the Sallah holidays with family, friends and associates.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, along with other top state functionaries, was at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos to welcome President Tinubu.

The President had been in the state since last week, but went back to Abuja for June 12 Democracy Day celebrations.

The presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, had in a statement said the President would mark the occasion in prayers and reflection on advancing the transformation of Nigeria in line with his Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Federal Government had earlier declared Monday, 17th and Tuesday, 18th, June 2024, public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
