As part activities to marks the 3rd anniversary of the passing of the Founder of CLEEN Foundation, Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma, the foundation in collaboration with the Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation, ICCEF, is delighted to announce the second annual memorial lecture.
The Foundation says the memorial lecture which will take place 12th April 2024, in Abuja is themed, The Power of One: Dreams & Nightmares: Thoughts on Innocent Chukwuma“.
According to the Foundation, the lecture is “to be delivered by the esteemed Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, His Lordship, Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah.
Its Executive Director, Gad Peter says Bishop Kukah, in the lecture, will focus on the power of one man; Innocent Chukwuma and how he made a difference, impacted his world and left an enduring legacy.
Peter notes that the title of the second lecture underscores the significance of individual agency in shaping our collective future.
In his words, the lecture series is dedicated to the memory of Innocent Chukwuma, the human rights advocate, intellectual, and visionary leader who left an indelible mark on our society.
According to him, the dedicated to his tireless efforts in the pursuit of social justice, good governance, gender equity, and empowerment of the marginalised continue to inspire generations.
In his words, as we gather to commemorate his impactful life and legacy, we reflect on the power of one individual to effect positive change and touch the lives of so many people across the world.
He states that the memorial lecture is open to the public, and we encourage all those who share in the vision of a more just and equitable society to join us in honouring the memory of Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma and advancing his legacy.
Peter says CLEEN Foundation and ICCEF are excited to host this second edition memorial lecture with an inspiring theme, they are happy to partner with three financial institutions: GT Bank, Afrinvest, and Zenith Bank, which share the vision and mission of both CLEEN and ICCEF.
He states that CLEEN Foundation believe that everyone has the potential to create positive change in their lives and communities, and hope that this event will empower individuals, communities, and society at large to pursue their dreams and make an impact, just as Innocent did.
