The Lagos State Government has restated its commitment to support the Nigeria Immigration Service, in its efforts to ease passport processes, visa issuance and ensure proper documentation of migrants in Lagos.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said this when the leadership of the Service led by its Acting-Comptroller General, Caroline Adepoju, paid him a courtesy visit at the Lagos House Ikeja.

Sanwo-Olu said government would collaborate with the Service to address some issues which included provision of land for staff residence, among others urging the organisation to be visa friendly.

He enjoined the Service to show dynamism and put innovative ideas in place using technology to enable investors in the international community to come for tourism and businesses, embark on advocacy programmes.
Adepoju congratulated the Governor on his re-election and appreciated his supports for the service restating that her office would continue to collaborate with the government and security agencies to ensure immigration processes were safe.
