The Nigerian Institute of Management, Chartered, has appointed Taiwo Olusesi, as its fourteenth substantive Registrar/Chief Executive with effect from this month.

Olusesi joined the institute from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, ICSAN, where she served as registrar/chief executive officer since 2020.

She took over the leadership of the Nigerian Institute of Management from Akin Iroko, who acted as the administrator, following a re-engineering and restructuring exercise.

Olusesi is a professional manager, seasoned chartered secretary and administrator, lawyer, chartered mediator and conciliator, and a tax professional.

She holds a degree and masters in law from Olabisi Onabanjo University and currently running a Doctor of Philosophy in Corporate Governance at LeadCity University, Ibadan.

Before her appointment at ICSAN, she was the Head Legal and Servicom Officer at Tai Solarin College of Education, Ogun State.

She is currently chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, Ogun State Branch, and served the Nigerian Bar Association in several capacities, such as financial secretary, secretary and national executive committee representative of the Ijebu Ode Branch.

Olusesi is an alumnus and faculty member of the Ei Academy for Sustainable Development Goals.

She is the founder of Advocates Against Domestic Violence and Gender Discrimination aka PROJECT NARANJA, a group that focuses on abused women through counselling, free legal services and provision of temporary shelter for fleeing victims of domestic violence.
