Operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS did not invade the Central Bank of Nigeria.

This is according to its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya.

Afunanya describes the report as fake news and misleading.

In his words, the attention of DSS has been drawn to the false news making the round that its operatives invaded the Central Bank of Nigeria and arrested its Governor, today 16/1/23.
