Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, have arrested two suspected vandals with a pile of already cut railings and a hacksaw on the overhead bridge at the Trade Fair Complex, Ojo.
The arrested suspects are one Abdullateef Abdulrahim ‘m’ aged 22 and Aliyu Lawan ‘m’ aged 16.
Commander, Rapid Response Squad,CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, had in response to credible intelligence on crime in the area directed an operation that led to the arrest of the suspects.
Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for further investigations to detect and crush the criminal network behind the incessant destruction of these infrastructure and their eventual prosecution.
