The Commissioner of Police Delta State Command, Ari Ali, has assured all Muslim faithfuls in the State of the provision of adequate security and free flow of traffic in view of the forthcoming Eid-El-Fitr festivities slated for Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd May.
He warned cultist and other mischief makers to steer clear as the command is more than ever ready to deal decisively with any body who tries to disrupt the peace in the State.
To this end, the CP has ordered massive deployment of personnel which includes special constabularies across the State for the purpose of providing adequate security in all Muslim prayer grounds and strategic locations in the state.
He has directed all DPOS to intensify raid of criminal hideout and black spot within the Command.
The Police boss adjured the Deputy Commissioner of Police in-charge of operations, Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, Tactical Operations Officers and all Heads of Departments of the Command to employ means of ensuring thorough supervision of personnel deployed for the actualisation of peace and tranquility throughout the state during and after the celebrations.
The Commissioner of police wished all Muslim faithfuls a hitch free, and a happy eid-el-fitr celebration.
