Commissioner of Police, Police Special Fraud Unit, Anyasinti Nneka has visited the Italian Consul General, Maurizio Busanelli and the Country Representative of Taiwan Trade Office in Nigeria; LiuYih-Ping Andy.

The CP was received at the Italian Consulate by the Consul General together with the Head of Consular Services, Etthore Scalia while at the Taipei Trade Office, she was received by Liu Yih-Ping Andy, Deputy Counselor Roger Chen and First Secretary Shawn Yang.

Nneka in her remark thanked Maurizio Busanelli for creating time for the event and sought the continued collaboration and support of the Consulate in the sharing of intelligence and investigation/prosecution of Visa Fraud, Human Trafficking and other related crimes referred to the Unit.

Busanelli in his response welcomed the CP and her entourage to the Italian Consulate and enumerated the several mutual benefits that had emanated from the existing synergy between the Consulate, PSFU and Nigeria in particular.

At the Taipei Trade Office, the Country Representative applauded the excellent and conducive working environment created in Nigeria for Diplomatic Missions to operate.

He particularly appreciated the support it receives from the various Agencies of Government in Nigeria, especially the PSFU.

In conclusion, the Taipei Representative offered to extend virtual and physical training opportunities to operatives of the Unit in order to enhance their skills to deal with Transnational Organized Crimes such as Cybercrime, Identity – related crimes, Trafficking, Piracy.

According to Police Public Relations Officer, SP Eyitayo Johnson, there was exchange of Souvenirs and group photographs at the end of the visits.
