Officials of the Lagos State Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA today paid a courtesy visit to the Management of MTN Nigeria at the head office Falomo Lagos.

The Commander, while stating his mission for the visit, revealed that in the time pass MTN had helped the Agency in so many ways.

The NDLEA officials led by its Commander, Barrister Callys Alumona were received by the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Cyril Ilok.

He enumerated some salient issues which borders on technical assistance in terms of investigations that involves communication technology in illicit drug trafficking, sponsoring of campaign against drug abuse as WAR AGAINST DRUG ABUSE train is moving across Nigeria.

According to him, MTN which has a wider coverage in terms of communication can also have a very significant impact by partnering with NDLEA and any other assistance the MTN renders to NDLEA Lagos State Command.

The Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in his response promised to look into the demands and that he will equally present them to the management during their meeting so they do the needful.
He urged the Commander to enumerates all the demands in writing and for easy understanding and actions.
At the end of the visit the State Commander presented NDLEA quarterly magazine to the Risk Officer and also inducted him as the WADA Ambassador with the lapel.
