Honourable Bashiru Dawodu Representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency is leaving no stone unturned in improving the education standard of his constituency.

This is evident in the various completed blocks of classrooms with the required furniture to complement it, in over six primary schools in the area.

Doctor dawodu also provided Free school buses to pick and drop students to and from school, as the students also testified that he also provided them with writing materials, as a way of easing the financial burden of their parents.

The students are thankful for the gesture as they promise to study hard and make the best use of all the facilities provided.

He assured his constituents of his readiness at ensuring students are exposed to qualitative education, encourage and support indigent students achieve their goals and be productive.
Dawodu said he listed the schools for the intervention to ensure pupils learn conveniently, promising to do more in the education sector to ensure qualitative education in his constituency.
Dawodu tasked Nigerian politicians to always see the need to give back to the society as the primary drive in wanting to represent the people.
According to him, governance is about helping the people, by ensuring that we have water, electricity, education and reducing the unemployment rate. So, when you look at the moral philosophy of governance, what God has told the people that are in a position is to help and take care of the needy in the society. So, once you have that kind of motivation especially for someone like me who’s a son of the community, you will want to give the people quality representation.
Having practiced in the US for fifteen years, becoming Chief Medical Director of Mitchel County Paediatrics, Camilla, Georgia, Dawodu was a founding member of the APC in the Diaspora after becoming a pioneer member of AD and later the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) before the party’s structure was collapsed into the APC.
Also, as a member of the then National Democratic Coalition (NADECO), a broad coalition of Nigerian democrats, he was among diasporan Nigerians who sparked international outrage, protesting on the streets of New York City against the assassination of Kudirat Abiola and for the military government of the late maximum ruler, Gen Sani Abacha to step down in favour of the winner of the June 12, 1993 election, Chief M. K. O. Abiola.
