Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has deployed over one thousand nine hundred and forty-two officers and men to ensure security and safety of lives and property during the Id-El-Fitr celebration in the state.

He felicitates with the Muslim faithfuls in Lagos and sues for peace, love and unity above all…
According to him, Id-Dl-Fitr also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast” or simply Eid, is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan.
He said the deployment followed the Federal Government’s declaration of Wednesday and Thursday as public holidays to mark the EI-DL-FITR CELEBRATION of this year.
Ayeni felicitates with Muslim faithfuls and all others in Lagos as they celebrate this year’s eid-el-fitr celebration.
He sues for peace, love and unity from all residents of the state during and after the celebration while guaranteeing the security of lives and property during the holiday.
Paul sounded a note of warning to all criminal elements and particularly vandals to desist from their evil, dastard and disastrous act of economic sabotage or be ready to face the full wrath of the law.
He assures that the Command will not go to bed during the holidays but rather remain fervent and committed to its core mandates and statutory functions, as provided by the law.
His message is contained in a statement by the Command Public Relations Officer,
Assistant Superintendent of Corps, Abolurin Oluwaseun.
