Nigerian Red Cross Society, Lagos State Branch has honoured Senator Oluremi Tinubu with the ‘Platinum Member Award’, for her selfless contributions, particularly to the motherless and abandoned babies home of the Society.
The award was given during the investiture ceremony at the one hundred fifty-eighth World Red Crosss Day celebration, held in Lagos.
The event tagged, “Unstoppable” was organised by the Lagos State Branch of the NRCS to commemorate 2021 WRCD.
Branch Chairman, Adebola Kolawole said Senator Tinubu had always shown care for the Red Cross and rendered selfless services to the orphans and motherless babies.
According to her, they are doing this to recognise and appreciate all her contributions to our motherless and abandoned babies home.
In her words, they appreciate all that the senator had been doing and know there is nobody doing good for humanity that will suffer in life, irrespective of whatever that person is going through.
Responding, Prince Bashir Olotu who represented the senator commended the Red Cross for the recognition and added that it will encourage Tinubu to do more.
Founder Purple Elephant, Opeoluwa Balogun, and Abimbola Fisayo were also awarded with platinum memberships, for their support and contributions to the Lagos Branch of NRCS.
