Personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC armed squad unit from the Lagos State Command Headquarters, were deployed to assist, in decongesting the traffic gridlock observed, at Otedola Bridge Magodo inward Gate Junction.

They were deployed by the Unit Commander, Superintendent of Corps, Elijah Falade.

The traffic control and decongestion operation which lasted for hours was brought under control.

The team leader ASCI Bello Bashir said the team received maximum cooperation from the road users while decongesting the traffic.
Lagos State Commandant, Corps Commandant Paul Ayeni commended the team for a job well done.
He charged them to always synergise and collaborate with the Police and other traffic related Security Agencies when discharging such duties and functions.
According to him, this will go a long way to improve the safety of lives and property, in Lagos State.
