
Kogi State Governor, Yahaha Bello has been confered with honorary Award of Professor in Humanitarian services, Human Resources Management and Peace Building by the prestigious ST Thomas-A-Becket University, France and fellow of Wesley Synod Canterbury, KENT, United Kingdom.
The Honorary award was in line with the recommendation by the christian leaders of the nineteen northern states of the federation which was held in Gombe.

The event which was witnessed by clerics as well as Christian faithful to honor a Muslim Governor due to his quality leadership, good governance and his balance religious idealogy in kogi state.
Speaking earlier, the leader of the groups, Bishop Ibrahim Dauda described the inter religious harmony under Governor Yahaya Bello as a way of sustaining peace in the country noting that Kogi is a practical example where Christians and Muslims were united in worship and hence the need for all nigerians to emulate the acts.
Responding Governor Yahaha Bello who spoke through his Deputy, Edward onoja while thanking the groups for a well deserved honor bestow on this principal said Nigerian leaders has a lots to learn from Governor Bello, particularly his recent intervention in key national crisis as that has distinguished him from other political leaders in the country.
Governor reassure the groups that the honor will spur him to do more especially in the area of promoting bpeace, national unity and development.
