The former military administrator of Kogi State, Colonel Paul Omeruo has applauded Governor Yahaya Bello for his effective leadership and good governance in the state.

Col Omeruo who was the military Administrator of Kogi State From 1993 –1996 gave the commendation when paid a courtesy call on the governor.

Omeruo said he was attracted to the governor for his audacious move to fight criminality to a standstill in the state, and infrastructural development, youths and women inclusion in governance and agricultural development.

The former military administrator noted that it has become necessary to familiarise himself with the Governor on the ground that the state is witnessing significant transformation since he left in 1996.

In a remark, Governor Yahaya Bello thanked the former military governor for his patriotism and selflessness during his reign in Kogi.

Bello urged the retired military officer to continue to share ideas on security with the government so as to rid the state of bad elements.
