Atokolo thanked AIG Ahmed Iliyasu for his support and contribution towards the annual walk against human trafficking organized by NAPTIP Lagos Command in collaboration with Live Abundantly Empowerment Initiative held 30th July, 2020 in commemoration of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
Atokolo who had called for a stronger working relationship between the Command and NPF ZONE 2, conveyed his immense joy for the AIGs promise of unflinching support.
He also pointed out that the AIG’s wealth of experience, brought to bear in collaboration with NAPTIP; will impede the activities of human traffickers in the South-West zone especially Lagos which is a major attraction for people seeking greener pastures.
The NAPTIP Commander appreciated the AIG’s commitment and dedication to duty, calling to the fore the role played by AIG Iliyasu in the celeberated arrest of the 8 suspects syndicate of child trafficking and rescue of 9 kidnapped Kano children from Onitsha, in Anambra state.
