Nigeria has recorded one hundred and seventy new cases of the novel coronavirus.

This brings the country’s total infections to two thousand five hundred and fifty-eight.

According to a tweet by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, of the new infections, thirty-nine are in Lagos, twenty-nine from Kano, twenty-four in Ogun and eighteen from Bauchi.

The FCT and Sokoto had twelve each, while Katsina has eight cases and seven cases were recorded in Borno.

Three cases were recorded in Nasarawa, two in Adamawa and one in Oyo state.
