In line with the mandate of the Nigeria Police Force under the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to beef up security in every part of the country and ensure society is rid of crime and criminality and as a result of the tireless and dedicated efforts of officers and men under Zone 2 comprising Lagos and Ogun States.

On 22nd June, 2019 about 0230hrs, information has it that there are suspected cultists who normally terrorize Igbe-Laara area of Ikorodu, Lagos. Based on the information, team of operatives from the Zone 2 Command swung into action; leading to the arrest of one OmogeKayode ‘m’ and LukmanRasaki ‘m’ with Ten (10) rounds of live cartridges, further investigation led to the arrest of one YekiniOjo ‘m’ with Three (3) types of Coffins containing quantity of black soap suspected to have been prepared with human parts.

c. YekiniOjo ‘m’ 48 Years

ARREST OF NOTORIOUS CULTIST

On 17th of July, 2019 at about 1700hrs, information was received that one TajudeenDauda ‘m’ a.k.a. TJ one of the strong member of AYEE Confraternity was sighted at Lagos garage in Ijebu-Ode area of Ogun.

A team of Zonal Intervention Squad (ZIS) operatives was detailed to track down the suspect and arrest him.

The team swung into action and moved to Ijebu-Ode where the suspect was arrested. The suspect confessed he belongs to a formal number one of the group under one of the group under investigation.

Investigation is in progress while effects are still on to arrest other suspects at large.

The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

ARREST OF A NOTORIOUS CULTIST/MURDERER/RECOVERY OF ARM AND AMMUNITION

On 21st of july 2019 at about 1600hrs, information was received that one SeyiAdesanya ‘m’ a.k.a. SEYI IKA one of the notorious members of EIYE confraternity who have involved in the killings of innocent members of the public was sighted at Oyingbo street area of Ijebu-Ode in Ogun state. A team of Operatives from Zone 2 Commandwas detailed to track down the suspect and arrest him.

The team immediately swung into action and moved to Ijebu-ode for arrest of the suspect. The suspect was arrested, one locally made single barrel gun with eight live cartridges were recovered from him.

He confessed beinga member of EIYE Confraternity and also the number one of the group and lead the investigating team to Ijebu-Ode for the arrest of one Saibu Kolawole ‘m’ and KoredeAtanda ‘m’.

The suspects admitted to have involved in the several killings of innocent people in ijebu axis any time there was a shown down of supremacy between his group and their rivalries group.

Investigation is in progress, while efforts are still on to arrest other suspects at large and recovery of their arms and ammunitions.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

ARREST OF NOTORIOUS CULTISTS/RECOVERY OF ARM

On 4thJuly, 2019 at about 1315hrs, information was received that some suspected hoodlums were terrorizing the residents of Olohunleke via Atan village area of Ogun state. A team of operatives of Zone 2 was detailed to track down the suspects.

The team was immediately swung into action and moved to the above village for the arrest of the suspects. One FolohunshoDamilare ‘m’ a.k.aPastol was arrested while one cut to size locally made pistol was recovered from him.
The suspect confessed he belongs to a member of EIYE confraternity under investigation.

The suspect confessed to have used the gun along with other suspects at large to attacked their rivalries during a shown down of supremacy between his gang and their rivalries.

Investigation is in progress, while efforts are still on to arrest other suspects at large and recovery more arms and ammunitions.

The suspect will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.

ARRESTS OF NOTORIOUS CULTIST/MURDERER

On 8TH of July, 2019 at about 1315hrs, information was received that one YomiTijani ‘m’ a notorious cultist who involved in the killing of one Fatai at Ajegunle area of Lagos state sometimes in December, 2018 and absconded was sighted around Ajegunle in Lagos.

A team of Operatives from Zone 2 Command immediately swung into action and moved to Ajegunle area of Lagos were one YomiTijani ‘m’ was arrested.

The suspect confessed he is a member of AYEE Confraternity and the killing of the deceased along with others at large.

Investigation is in progress while effort is at top gear to arrest other suspects on the run.

ARREST OF A NOTORIOUS HOMOSEXUALIST

On 20th of July, 2019 about 1315hrs, information was received that one Justin Edward ‘m’ who is specialized in having sexual intercourse with his fellow men by threatening them was sighted at Atan area of Ogun state.

Upon the information, a team of Operatives from Zone 2 Command swiftly moved to the area and effect arrest of the suspect one Justin Edward ‘m’ who was found with Three (3) facial masks in his possession.

He confessed to have had sexual intercourse with Five (5) men. Investigation is in progress while efforts are on to get other members of his gang.
