Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it will embark on a medical outreach and sport engagement to deepen civil-military relations in Enugu state.
Air Commodore Paul Masiyer, the Commander, 155 Base Services Group of NAF in the state, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Monday.
Masiyer said the outreach was part of efforts by the airforce to play its role in the sustenance of democratic rule.
The commander said the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, had mandated the airforce to foster cordiality between it and the civilian population in the country.
The Nigerian Air Force wants to continue making positive impact in the lives of Nigerians anywhere and anytime,’’ he added.
