President Muhammadu Buhari’s economic recovery efforts deserve the understanding and support of Nigerians.

This is because the slide in the economy is a culmination of some of the problems inherited by his administration including poor infrastructure in the petroleum sector.

Outgoing United States Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle, who made this known, commended the President for the efforts being made to revive the nation’s economy.

Entwistle compared the present situation confronting President Buhari to what

US President Barrack Obama went through when he came to power.

“In my country, a lot of people forgot a very difficult situation President Obama

inherited. The same thing is happening to President Buhari to a certain degree,”

he said.

The outgoing United States Ambassador to Nigeria, expressed the hope that the economy would improve as quickly as possible.
