Lagos State Deputy Governor, Doctor Idiat Adebule, has said the Eid-il-Fitr celebration called for sober reflection, appreciation of Allah’s mercies and thanksgiving for peace in the country.

Adebule made the assertion in Lagos in her message to Muslims as they marked the end of Ramadan fasting globally, thanking Lagos residents for maintaining harmonious co-existence in the face of economic challenges and insecurity in the nation.

She urged parents and guardians to counsel their children and wards on the dangers of engaging in violence and anti-social activities.

According to her, the Lagos State Government is assuring law abiding residents of their security and welfare at all times.
