President Muhammadu Buhari has recieved commendation for his immense support and encouragement to the Nigerian Army.
The commendation came from Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya who acknowledged Buhari for his untiring effort at ensuring the personnel are operationally robust and efficient to carry out their responsibilities in the country.
Yahaya made this commendation at the Nigerian Army Finance Corps’ 13th Biennial Training Conference 2022 held at Nigerian Army Ordnance Corps, Abati Barracks, Ojuelegba, Lagos.

He said the training was specifically designed to improve the capacity and competencies of officers to enable them operate optimally towards efficiency and career progression.
In his words, in view of the contemporary security challenges in the country, the Nigerian Army must remain steadfast, focused, disciplined and professional in dealing with the challenges.
According to Yahaya, to this end, the development and deployment of critical competencies that will contribute significantly to the defence and security of the nation becomes imperative.
