Chief Superintendent of Police, Olayinka Egbeyemi assumed office as the Chairman of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences (Enforcement) Unit (Taskforce) over 4 years ago.


Within the said four years, Egbeyemi had waged war against criminal elements disturbing innocent public by dislodging them from their hideouts from Akala, Obalende, Agege, Oworonsoki, Bariga, Orile, Berger, Fadeyi, Oyingbo and others.


Egbeyemi and his operatives had prosecuted more than three thousand five hundred miscreants and cultists arrested across the State.


He had suppressed activities of the dreaded ‘One million Boys and other criminal gangs in the State.


Egbeyemi enforces the Lagos State Traffic Reform law of 2018 by deploying his officers to all nooks and crannies in maintaining free flow of traffic and prosecuting traffic offended at the Lagos State Mobile Courts.


The Lagos State Task Force under his watch has responded to.over three hundred and forty-five criminal distressed call from the public at different locations of the State.


He and his operatives in protecting lives of the public had impounded more than fifteen thousand motorcyclists who specialises in robbing the public both day and night.


In protecting robbery activities across the State, he deploy his men on daily basis to different black spots such at Oshodi, Mushin, Agege, Egbeda, Iba among others.


He through the Agency in enforcing the Lagos State Environmental laws dislodges street trader and hawkers activities from disturbing free flow of traffic.


He created Environmental Unit within the Agency to tackle the menace of illegal mechanics on streets of Lagos, illegal dumping of refuse at undesignated spots, illegal blockage of roads/streets with gates.
